Lawton Ridge Winery

About

We’ve been growing wine grapes at our vineyard in Lawton, Michigan since 1974, and we opened our production facility and tasting room on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo in 2008. All of the wine that we produce comes from grapes grown either in our vineyard or in neighboring vineyards in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA. While we make a variety of wines, we strive for well balanced, food-friendly wines ranging from elegant, dry reds to dessert wines, many of which have already won awards.

The grapes are in Lawton…your fun is in Kalamazoo!

Awards

Lawton Ridge wines have garnered industry recognition in the Michigan Wine Competition, the Indy International Wine Competition and the Finger Lakes International Wine and Spirits Competition to name a few.   Our Gold Medal wines include Rosé, Two-Handed Red and Lawton 3, while our AZO Red has won Best in Class multiple times as the best semi-sweet red blend in the state of Michigan.
